Tanker No 9 for Marlin
Marlin Environmental first came to us in 2005 when we purchased a quality used Volvo FL220 17 ton gross chassis/cab and mounted a new 2,000 gallon vacuum cesspool emptier tanker for them. Moving through the years, at roughly a new tanker every two years, via a variety of specifications, (including 2 x hazardous waste vacuum sludge tankers) we arrive at the latest build … this, a Volvo FE320 6x2 mounted 3,100 gallon non hazardous ‘Liquid Ring’ high performance wet waste vacuum tanker. The specification includes items that now seem to be standard on recent Marlin builds - hydraulic rear door including the clamping, large diameter sight glass, travel and vent valves, good storage and lighting, and not forgetting the massive 1,800 cfm pump performance that requires a 300 gallon compartment within the barrel envelope for process water. The white paint finish matches the Volvo cab.

Marlin’s first tanker pictured here ready for collection in Oct 2005. A new 2,000 gallon vacuum sludge tanker with manual side hinged rear door, PTO driven 190 cfm vac pump and the usual standard fitments, all mounted on a used but refurbished Volvo FL220 4x2 chassis/cab, finish painted white.
