10,000 Wind Up Radios for Malawi

10,000 Lifeline wind up and solar radios have been supplied by Buckingham's to The National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) which is a Malawi Government initiative funded by the European Union. NICE have what they call 'Listening Clubs' in all 28 districts in Malawi, comprising of 6 to 10 people who tune in to radio programmes on Farming, Presidential and Parliamentary Elections, Educational opportunities Aid and Development Projects, etc.
